How to Fix the Bubbles in a Framed Art
Removing bubbles from prints when mounting
Removing bubbling from prints when mounting
Sep 20, 2000
Using an Epsom 1270 and semi-gloss roll newspaper (viii" width) I am attempting to print and mount some panoramas.
The press is fine (no orange cast down under that I'm aware of) but I am finding that when using double sided adhesive sheets to fix the photo to the backing lath I am getting bubbles forming. Affixing the agglutinative sheet to the impress doesn't cause a problem simply then fixing the impress to the bankroll lath seems to create a few bubbles that I can't avert regardless of how flat the print is or how conscientious I am in mounting it.
I'd really appreciate some advice on this one.

Maybe you would have better luck with a spray agglutinative, such as
3M Photograph Mount Spray Adhesive.

I've had pretty expert luck mounting things by commencement getting a practiced stick in the center of the shot and so slowly working outward. This forces the air out. Leon
